Do mods read PMs users send to each other?

Yes they can . But that still when you have issues with the other party on buying/selling.

They are able to validate the truth with the conversation you both had.

Even if you delete them, the mods would still be able to read em.

I don't think they would just dip into your pm's when they feel like it or to be nosey, it's only when they suspect someone is breaking the rules or trying to sell without Jr VIP in PM's.

Maybe or Maybe not

Man that doesn’t sound good XD

You think a mod is stalking you?

That’s what I want to know. I know BHW doesn’t have an end-to-end encryption but how private the conversations are?

that’s classified information way above the pay grade of $97 but I’ll tag some people who can actually shed more light on this @BassTrackerBoats @Zwielicht

Would love to hear their response

Well, BHW is not a messaging App/site so I don't think there's any need for end to end encryption.
If you have a super confidential information to communicate, you can take the person to other messaging platform that offers end to end encryption. There's no rule against that.

Thread Moved

Volunteer moderators cannot read PMs, with the exception of specific messages that get reported.

In-house staff members can read messages, although this is only done in specific circumstances (e.g., reports, shit lists, MIT training purposes, etc) as the forum owner would not be pleased if one of us were idly sifting through the conversations of random members instead of doing actual work.
