Exchanges like Paxful, LocalCoinSwap, LocalBitcoin, etc, all let you meet up in-person to exchange your cryptocurrency for cash or gift cards. This prevents the risk of getting scammed online but they often pay 10%+ premiums on popular cryptocurrencies. Even though those sites list similar rates online, I would be cautious as it's much easier to chargeback Paypal than physical dollars.
