I took the step away from the most incredibly toxic work environment you could imagine and Im starting to do my own work. I will not turn back now even if progress is slow at first and life is tough, as it has been during this pandemic. So yes, I think I am happy so far

Well I have recently quit my office, my boss keeps on asking to give more and more business to him. I got fed up with that and finally after 8 years of my working experience in digital marketing I quit the job. I try to find work that inspires me when I wake up every day. Even if it is a grind, and I don't have it fully automated away, at least I enjoy it. I put in more effort than many people to be able to have a job like I do, but it makes it worth it to me.

Nah money is not the driver of job satisfaction, if that's all you care about you will always hate your job. There will be more bad days than good. Most people tend to think money is the only driving force that matters or it's the answer to problems and will result in job satisfaction - it's not. Clear debts, learn to live within your means and just have $200-500 in savings is all you need once you remove debt pressure life is soo much easier.

People don't though and choose to burry their heads in the sand, think crypto, some fast money making scheme or a drop shipping business is the answer. Its not. Take ownership suck it up and face your problems. IT will suck shit for about the first hour you have to make that call after that everything is easier.

Obviously there are a lot of things that you would prefer to do instead of working (say, cruising around the Mediterranean with your big yacht). The reason we work is because we can't afford to spend millions on a big yacht yet. So, you're not supposed to pick a job by "how happy it makes me". That's a dead end because then you'll never move on. Instead, you try to figure out what job can help you make your dreams come true before you die.
