As I post this, let me tell you guys that I myself am a NEWBIE at BHW. This does not mean that I am not making money online or offline. I do make money ...maybe much bigger than what BHW members make or maybe much lesser than that.

I am not here to brag about how much I make money using various methods, nor am I here to get stuff free of cost. I am in to PPC and Online marketing since 2002.

If you think you are an expert and you make more than $500 a month then this thread is NOT for you.

This post is for all my newbie friends who think they can buy a HUMMER within few months. (sarcastic )

I always put things in points (my bosses taught me to do always). So here is a small tip/guide for people who have just entered this market of making money sitting next to their girlfriends/wives and sipping some beer.

1. Start a website/blog. Forget about the niche. Get some unique articles on it. 'I can own the internet' can be well converted to 'The Internet can be owned by me'....you have an unique content...smart

2. Keep posting atleast 1 article on this website daily...untill you get atleast 100 unique visitors.

3. Dunno if this point would have been -1 but I would recommend all my friends to use wordpress with the SEO plugin.

4. Keep submitting your articles to DIGG, Reddit, Twitter & Stumple Upon.

5. Target US & UK guys ONLY...these are the people who will give you lots of money from affliate products.

6. Once you have enough traffic (keep posting everyday).. put some relevant ads or an affiliate links on your website/blog.

Not making enough money??? What is enough for you? Make atleast $100 a month from the above tips and then follow threads like cookie stuffing at BHW. Without learning the basics, you will land up at HELL (HELL is at a point/place where I am cash -ve)

Bottom line: Learn the ABC before you try to enter a conference full of people who use complicated terms. Your questions will go unanswered and people will not take you as a serious or hard working person who understands something like 'DO IT YOURSELF'.

good bottom line, but i think most people (here anyway) are more niched/method based than the advice you give here, also i am not one to talk since i dont make $500 a month, but making that much does not make you an expert.

$500 a day, now thats an expert..

but overall, you're advice will work better when properly niched and researched, you cant just shoot in the dark. you have to know what you're doing and how you're going to get there, summed up..

1. preperation is key
2.knowledge is power

My experience says that any niche will work for you untill & unless you are dedicated towards it. For. e.g: There might be a huge competition on NBA games but you stand out when you give some unique stats and player profiles.

but true success comes with total domination, and though i personally dont like that he pretty much sells bull$hit, a man we can all learn from when it comes to total domination is ewen chia, my oh my...

but just to make my point again, site about the nike predator shoe, will get more of a targeted response then a site about nike football shoes, and the same goes for when this is expanded to just nike.

all in all, the (smart) work you put in = the profits that come out..

Yes, you are right. Your words say 'get more of a targeted response'.. I am sure most of the people who are in this market do not know how much is 'MORE'. My post above is for starters to explain that you guys start making money from the basic concepts like AdSense maybe and then try to get into Affiliate Marketing...know the entire basics/concept of it and then maybe in get into BHW. A newbie coming here and going ahead with something like cookie stuffing would end up getting banned and ...DREAMS SHATTERED!!!! All I have to tell people is go slow and learn as you climb the ladder. Do not try and jump on the 10th stair now....making money is not easy...you learn and gain slowly & steadily... (I am not God but whatever I say comes out of experience)

This system should be regarded as a testing ground for newbies before advancing to more difficult and more rewarding stuff. Maybe you'll make a nice couple of dollars this way, maybe not. Anyway you will learn from the process. Nice post.

Some of the methods here can buy a hummer STR8 CASH within 1 month. I've seen thousand dollar days along with a lot of the other BHW guys. This requires a lot of focus and creativity, and my last two years have been a testament to that but also you don't have to reinvent the wheel. Just read one particular method and understand it inside and out then add your own twist which will differentiate yourself from the rest of the competition.

Take advantage of the freedom of information here. Natural selection will do the rest.

My advice to the newbies would be to:

Learn how to fail - You have to "pay to play", that doesnt necessarily mean money, but you need to experiment and try new things. If you never put anything into action and test money making techniques, dont expect to make any money. In order to know the small details you need to have some experience.

Know your niche - You're wasting your time if you think you can make a site on some vague topic like real estate foreclosures, start small with "small city name" foreclosure services.

It takes work - Dont buy into all the BS eBooks talking about making money overnight. You're competing with people all over the world, some guy in Hong Kong who is far more knowledgeable in online marketing will destroy you.

Bottom line - start now and stay focused on a niche/topic.......it takes when you first start out

I would have to disagree with the original poster. Saying "forget about the niche" for me would be the ultimate mistake you can commit in Internet Marketing.

Doing IM without a niche to focus on is like a flight without a destination

Most successful marketers I know have earned huge amount of wealth because they are intelligent enough to know that having a niche to cater your product/service is the best way to go

Not to brag or whatever but I earn $300-$1000 a day. My business is focused on a very unique yet very profitable niche(beauty-related) where the competition is quite low and most of my competitors are dumb when it comes to SEO. I dont update frequently and I only do both BH and WH in a monthly period.

I dont think any business would be successful if you wouldnt be smart enough to find your niche and the place where you think you will prosper the most

Bottomline, as what Atlas said, its finding and researching the BEST and untapped niche for you and then start from there

I agree with you Snowhite but as I said before, people who are new in this market spend lot of time and energy in finding the right niche. Most of them quit here itself thinking there is huge competition and its not their cup of tea. Some people might find a good niche but will not get traffic as they cannot develop good content over it.

My suggestion always has been to get in to something you are aware of. I am not a dentist so it would be bad idea for me to blog about maintaining healthy teeth to start with. Yes, maybe after few months I will be able to hire an article write, read a book and write about it but not to start with. I would suggest newbies to start a website or blog on something they know about.

A few days ago one of my friends asked me about making money online but he could not do anything as he does not have any niche/knowledge about anything. I asked him about his job and he works as a rep resolving ISP issues. There was the niche...I gave him a simple tip to blog about daily issues he resolves for his customers, blog about modems, routers etc....He has a blog now where he posts atleast twice a day. He is getting a decent traffic and will earn more as his interest and knowledge towards that niche is great.
