Using wp-rocket plugin for caching and delaying js, and perfmatters plugin for removing unused elements of elementor can get you really fast websites. I made the same website with elementor and another theme i think it was bimber and the amount of html code was pretty much the same. After more tweaks on the elementor website I managed to make it even faster than the website with only a theme.

First I will go for Elementor. Second it'll be Gutenberg and than thrive. Because Elementor has good response and build a page with quick drag and drop and also easy to use.

Elementor is such a bloated piece of shit, that whatever I get out of my system after 3 bottles of wine and 20 course dinner can only pale in comparison.

Forget about builders, nobody cares about how your site looks. Big websites all over the net look like absolute shit and they rake hundreds of thousands a month.
