For sure. I’m a bit weary about cloud. Even one of the biggest IT companies had a huge cloud breach a few years ago when I worked there. It could have cost them millions upon millions in damage.If you choose the cloud route (I prefer the local network) be sure to always backup your data on a drive you have access to.
Thinking the cloud is 100% secure is a mistake, look t what happened with ovh recently. It could happen to amazon or Google too. The cloud is only someone else's computer .
If you're that worried about security, why not set up a home server with ownCloud or something similarMaybe I need to re-think my view of these cloud services. I always imagined they were quite insecure.
