Hello guys,

I feel like perhaps I'm not approaching Pinterest the right way so I'm curious as to what's your Pinterest strategy?

I'm a "lots of accounts" and "automation" type of person...so my approach/strategy for Pinterest is creating lots (i.e. hunderds) of accounts and using automation to post to those accounts. Fair warning though...this appoach leads to lots of suspended/shadow-banned accounts, and occasional banned domains...so it's not for everyone. I am constantly testing and tweaking things like image variations/manipulation, descriptions/spintax, target URL variations etc...so it's hardly a hands-off approach. I keep meaning to try the "one manual account" approach...but it's just so against my nature :)

Im in the same situation.. I have a new pinterest account and want to know the best way to automate the uploads. I've a lot of images

A lot of bloggers swear by Pinterest but I haven't had those results tbh.

I use just 2 accounts and bot for uploading. More pins - more chances for organic traffic

I’ve come across some black hat methods but haven’t really tried them... I’m doing everything organically... it’s definitely not as easy as so many make it seem!

I mainly used for mainly traffic purpose. By schedule out fresh pins regarding blog post. Making a content that performs well on the board like product pins. Joining the community boards to get more followers

Pinterest works best for traffic, not sure so much about direct sales.
Whatever you Niche is, find every possible image related to your business, and then categorize them into boards. Every image should be linked to a relevant landing page on your website.
For example if you are selling health products, and one of them is natural protein --- photos of people drinking protein, girls working out, gym photos, some infographics - every single one of those pins leading to the actual product page of that protein product on your website.
Rinse and repeat for every other product you have.

I use Pinterest as a source of traffic and an additional signal to Google that the site is trustworthy (if visitors come to the site through a variety of channels, not just from search, that's a significant plus to overall site promotion).

You can create a large number of accounts and boards automatically. You can also promote accounts by doing everything manually for greater effect. I prefer the second option.

If you promote only your boards, you will get few visitors to the site.

Better works when you become someone else's moderator boards, and from time to time post your pins (with links to the site promoted) mixed with regular posts, at a ratio of 1 / 20.

You need to prepare your Pinterest account beforehand, which takes 1-2 months. During that time you need to post pins on your boards, follow dozens of people, and get your own followers. Then write to the admins of the popular boards on your topic that you want to become a moderator, and then from time to time post your links. This way it is quite realistic to get 1-2k visitors per day in popular topics.

I hope this information is useful for you.

I’m still giving Pinterest a chance and figuring it out... I have had maybe 1 to 2 clicks from Pinterest. I was trying to play by their rules but I don’t think it’s worth it. I use tailwind and had some pins not go on schedule for a day and all my impressions dropped.

Thank you so much, any other information regarding Pinterest would be appreciated. I feel like I should just focus on SEO and forget about Pinterest.

I hope pinterest gets shut down for the sake of real creators, it has like no original content, just earning traffic by illegally caching links.
