backlink is not on ahrefs

Hello,

I hope is the right place to post this thread.
I have a question, please. I'm checking my competitors backlings and try to duplicate. As I can see, there are some big sites where they have and now I have too, BUT their links are in ahrefs and mine not. I want to underline that I'm not speaking about links from yesterday, but over 8 moths.

Is not a singular case, this is my problem. So ahrefs sees they backlinks, but not mine (not all, of course). I checked and the articles are indexed, all looks good.

May I have some advices?

Advertise on BHW
no tool shows 100% of the backlinks, not even google's search console. But if you know that your backlink is indexed that's all that matters.
 
Actually I want. I want to increase also the DR in order to be able to sell links.
PS: is not a site for link farming, of course. It's a normal blog with a 200+ articles (1000+ words each). But I want to increase my authority

are your links showing up in GSC? or when you search for them in google?

have you checked to see if your links are really valid or not? maybe they got reported by your competitors and got removed?

yes, they are in GSC (I just checked again). yes, all are indexed. all the backlinks are old, more than 8 months (but the index is done usually next day because the sites are "big").
again, this is not happaning for all the backlinks, of course. but there are about 20% where my competitors have them in ahrefs and I don't
 
Try social signals or social bookmarking those backlinks that did not appear.
 
It is not mandatory. After some time, when your site is growing, backlinks are getting index slowly. This does not always happen.. some times backlinks are index even your web not rank.. but some links take considerable time to index search and appear to Ahrefs tool.
 
If your links may not indexed by google and also the pages containing your links using nofollow links. then you have to wait for google should be crawl and index. If your links are indexed. all the backlinks are not shown by tools.

are you using a paid ahref account or using the free option : https://ahrefs.com/backlink-checker

If you follow your competitor backlink profile then it is a good thing but any tool doesn't show the 100% right data. So if your backlinks are do-follow and indexed then it will definitely help you to boost your website ranking.
 
get verify your site in ahrefs wait for 4-5days. 100% your backlinks going to show on ahrefs

So even non-indexed PBN's? come on man, don't scare people.

Ahrefs will hopefully show every other link you have, but it's really a lottery for new links, they might show up after a couple of days or after a month.
