what to do with 500Mbps upload speed?

Hey,

I just got 500Mbps upload [and download]

I had something like 100Mbps before and really don't need the extra speed/capacity

But I was wondering if there was anything I could use it for?

For instance I have a YouTube Channel. Are there groups that work [is it called PBN?] where I give them my upload speed and I get view time/views from others?

Does that work?

It's really only YT I have. I don't have any other fingers in pies.

I just don't know if PBN's are worth setting up, or if they are a waste of time.


I guess if not I have wasted the extra money I have spent each month to get this

Seed Linux iso or anything else just be careful and use vpn or u can run a ipfs node if you are into it.

Well, I was at the end of my year - they had no deal... so I said I would go monthly... as I can see they often have deals.

I was going to wait and get 150MBPS but for a discount

They have a flash sale but just of 500MBPS or 1GB

So I am paying £33 a month

I think it's normally £50 a month

Unless you want to upload some videos for others and offer it as a service, I am not really sure what to do with that speed.

If you figure something out, let me know, since I was wondering the same.

Yeah - I think I have paid extra - when I don't need it

I thought there was a thing called PBN [name may be wrong] where you give up your computers upload bandwidth and you get back [your choice] things like YT views. I think one is called Panda. But I could be wrong as I am going on a memory of a thread I looked at months ago

You could Host a central syncthing node or host a Tor node if you've got enough RAM

I bought a high end PC - but for making music

So was crap for graphics - had to drop another £700 on a GPU when I decided I need to edit in Davinici Resolve
