Significantly Increase Wordpress Cache & Page Speed

To the point... WP Rocket in combination with Perfmatters is a good combination to work with to improve cache and page speed. For larger sites, the aforementioned plugins in addition to the following recommendation of Scalability Pro (just google it if you're not familiar with it) will also help. I'd also recommend using Query Monitor as it will tell you in your dashboard what your page loading speed is and you will see it fluctuate as you make changes regarding caching and as you add or delete plugins to figure out which ones are bogging down your speed.

Utilize a photo smushing plugin as well to address your image media like Smush or Imagify.

This will definitely shave time off of your page speed. If you want to see even more significant increases, as caching honestly should be done at the server level, then I would recommend a dedicated server (in addition) to the above plugin combination for the most drastic difference.

Those are going to be the best recommendations aside from Scalability Pro (and just to put it out there I'm not an affiliate for them either).. just a great plugin that I've mentioned for the purposes of website caching improvement.. With that said, are you sure that you don't have any other plugins that are weighing down your pages ? What is gtmetrix showing you ? Are you sure it's simply about your photos or is there anything else you can deactivate or remove that could increase overall page speed ?

resmush.it does approx everything that smush pro does, but for free, check it out
also, you would like to convert most of the pictures into wepb as it will save more size especially for png files (there are a couple of WordPress plugins for that already)
also, make sure to extend server & user page cache lifetime as this will reduce the server-side queries and will reduce any user future downloading, making it faster for returning users (1-week minimum)

will Scalability Pro be useful for small sites/blogs with no shoping/e-commerce pages tho?
