Okey, could also explain why puppeteer is better than as selenium? I was talking about selenium webdriver as interface for automation. Means all the logic is in your hand. User-agents and all the stuff are from the browser looking normal. if you are using selenium, your chances to go undetected are close to zero.

I make bots in Javascript with Cheerio. If you know jQuery, Cheerio will be easy.

don't use python at all. use nodejs with nightmare, it is a thousand times better and you can program it more efficient, clean and smart

It really depends on what kind of bots you want to create. Web-like bots you could use python, php, js and other languages.

Puppeteer uses the CDP (Chrome DevTools Protocol), which basically sends events to the page the same way you do when you move your mouse or type on your keyboard. There is no way for a webpage to know the source from which the event came. That being said, Puppeteer itself isn't completely undetectable unless you pair it with another plugin called puppeteer-extra-plugin-stealth.

Do you have any good resources on how to learn Node.js + Puppeteer from scratch?

I started looking into how to build web automation scripts, and I saw Puppeteer is less spread on YouTube, Google than Phyton, which I see as a good thing regarding fingerprints.

Selenium is good for automating browser behavior, not good for scraping (there are exceptions). For scraping something like requests + beautiful soup would be best
