You should also have ETH to be able send/withdraw USDT

I guess it's most safe to use USDT if you're afraid to lose money with crypto..

Yeah.. better scalability, fast processing times, a novel mining algorithm, and low transaction fees as you said. I still have some but not the main choice because partners prefer BTC for paying.
