Staking CRO! Why is the Visa card a factor?

I staked my Tezos on Exodus with 3 clicks. I staked my ADA on Daedalus the same way. I put my Stellar to earn interest on Blockchain the same way.

So I decided to stake my CRO on my Crypto app, and I have no idea what's going on. Why is the Visa card a factor in this process? Why do I need to reserve a card? Why make it complicated?

I have CRO - I want to stake my CRO

See that's a simple thing I want to do. And then a card pops up, and then I have to reserve my card. Why? What's their problem?

Can anyone explain to me what I'm getting myself into and what the process of staking CRO is?


p.s I watched Youtube videos and all that, and I don't give a sh*t about card benefits or any of that stuff. I pay with cash, not with cards. All I want is to stake my CRO and earn returns.

So I think that staking on the APP and on the EXCHANGE are different.

It puzzles me why they would separate the two, but there you go. It seems Crypto.com has an app, and an exchange, and they're separated.

And in order to stake on the app you will be bullied or forced to reserve or order or something their Visa card.

On the exchange, it seems the card isn't a factor.

I've been on the internet too deep for too long, I can't read anything longer than 2 paragraphs haha

So I think that I'll have to move my CRO from their app to their exchange, and then stake it. Though I did read that moving CRO (maybe other cryptos too) from the Crypto.com app to their exchange is free, so at least that's something.

Says on the app that you need a minimum of 5,000 CRO in order to stake.
