4k accounts banned

In the last 5 days pinterest been a nightmare ... AGAIN

Around 4K accounts got banned, yaaaaaay pinterest you won this game, as I got fed-up

In the last 3 years you banned me around 200k accounts, suspended close to 9k redirects.

He's right though, there's no reason Pinterest would ban your accounts unless you were leaving a footprint. Maybe the bot is not performing actions in a human-like manner? It's often an easy way the AI/algorithm catches botters.

I don't know how you open or login to those accounts but i would suggest you check out the browser fingerprint, make sure you change that. Browser fingerprints are a bitch and paypal,facebook, amazon uses them a lot so i suspect pinterest uses them as well to identify multiple accounts from the same device. Ips are just a part oft he equation

I got my own bot, my own proxy - my bot logins on pinterest with a mix from browser pc, browser mobile, app mobile and using session token ... anyway we aren't here to speak about my stuffs

@memovlad I definitely feel your pain...the last 3 days I've had a lot of accounts suspended too. Doing mass Pinterest marketing these days is harder than it was a year or so ago. And I know how fed up you are...but there's still skin in the game. We just need to find the sweet spot.

@kromsss When I create accounts, I actually only vary the IP I use. In all other respects my accounts are created the same way, same user agent etc. So IF browser finger printing, or any kind of footprint I leave, was a factor then I would expect every account I created/operated to be suspended pretty much in one swipe. But that just doesn't happen in my experience. I have accounts, still active, created exactly the same way, that are over 2+ years old. So how come it's only some accounts, and not all of them that get suspended? I'm not dismissing browser fingerprinting...but I find it difficult to believe it's the reason for suspensions.

Hello @secguy , what @memovlad and you have mentioned has happened to me also. Last year I had the lower suspension rate (%) in the past 4 years but starting at the end of last month and this month aprox 70% of my accounts were banned. The largest percentage of accounts were banned starting 25.02.2021.

Theoretically how i do things is pretty unique as I have created my own methods so I assume the proxy ip's are to blame when posting (using session token). Now things get interesting - if I had two accounts on the same proxy only one was banned , on others both were banned, still trying to figure out what I did wrong.

The reason for suspensions is more likely to do with spam rather than IP's/bots. I know Pinterest T&C's say no bots, but I'd guess it's more to do with image/descriptions and where you link to.

Sorry for your loss but if i were in your position then i would simply check what foot prints i am leaving and then fix that
