What strategy is this guy using for Youtube videos?

There's a popular guy on YT with over a million subs. I've copied and pasted some of his YT video titles into Google and his videos are reposted on all sorts of random sites - v dodgy looking sites or sites with just the one video embedded, OR random Facebook pages (curious about this as well). Can someone please explain this strategy? He also claims to have multiple YT channels. I've found one of them (affiliate marketing, funnily enough), but any way to find the others?
I plan to start a Youtube channel and will be embedding on a blog as well, so am curious about this..
