I think this is why the SAAS model works better. You are not working for one customer (something like freelance).
As long as the tool keeps working (and gradual improvement of features and functionalities) - I think it can work out. I'm about to find out lol.

I ship about 15,000 products a week. Some of the shit customers come out with from a customer service standpoint would blow your mind. Good luck
Once you start getting customers. Start keeping a log of standard questions & replies you issue when you come to time to expand this helps train up a CS rep much quicker PLUS you can create a knowledge base or FAQ as well for customers to read BUT every customer thinks that does not apply to them and will still mail you anyway
