[Journey] Blogging to 200 users a day!

Hello everyone!

My goal is to gain at least 200 unique visitors a day with my website in the Sleeping Niche.

I have started my journey on 11 Oktober 2020 as a complete beginner blogger. Before starting on this project I had a great succes in selling accounts for a game, but decided to sell my shares to pursue my passion as content creator.

These are the goals that I have reached so far:

- Getting a domain, hosting, etc.
- Writing 70 articles between 500 to 3.5k words.
- Finding new low comp keywords with some volume.
- Created 10 YouTube videos.

This website is not going to benefit a lot from affiliates, but from ads and courses.

Most views came from social media platforms, hopefully organic traffic grows soon as well.

My goals for now are:

- Improve old content of the site that should be longer
- Created 1 YouTube video a week
- Get more keywords ready
- Get more articles on the site (handwritten and tier 2 bought)

Spend on site: 300$
Adsense revenue: 8$


I try to update weekly my results and hopefully this keeps me motivated to push this in my after hours of my study.

UPDATE

- Reached 70 Content pieces collectively with the site and youtube.
- 10 daily visitors on the site.
- 280 views per day on YouTube.
- Bought Pyramid Backlinks (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3) just to see what it helps.
- Working on an App for my niche and if that is finished a course.

TO-DO

- Writing more articles
- Get more keywords to write about
- Finish the basics of the app
- Invest in more content

Yeah I know, I don't worry about the results because I also sort of doing it out of passion about the subject. I already have contact with big research group on this subject and they use my info and ideas in this research!

- Reached 86 content pieces
- still 10~ daily visitors
- Found a new domain name to work on as well
- Got 100 new keywords to make articles on (all low comp on my niche)

TO-DO

- Find an article writer (already have sample orders on multiple sites and people)
- Finish the app for release
- Invest in more content

I am in this niche because I have been in the community of sleeping for a long time, I know everything about it and I can share it with passion.
I also own a community with over 1500 members for this niche. It is all because I love the niche it has nothing to do with "Potential great niche".
In my micro niche, there are only 3 competitors. In the bigger picture only 10.

I have bought a pyramid linking package that does tier 1, 2 and 3 links. They started indexing last month and it has been giving the keywords a boost not huge changes yet.

Don't go for cheap links
invest in some strong links or build your own PBNs,
treat the business like a real-life one and you'll be earning x5 what would you make with some real shop

How did you choose the niche? Are you creating the app yourself?

Links are important, but I see them as extra atm. I know quality links do more than mid/low tier links. I am planning to do guest posts soon probably that is going to help more.

How did you choose the niche? Are you creating the app yourself?

The niche is my passion/ my hobby. That is how I chose this niche.

I am making the app myself with Xamarin and firebase. It is working well now, only need to add comments and profile. Should not take long anymore to finish it. I can get a shout out for the app on a 774k subs youtube channel. So that will certainly boost downloads and passive income. This app will require you to open it once a day.

Big milestone.
Wrote 60 myself and outsourced 40

The app I am making is almost finished! It looks amazing, I thought it would've been harder, instead I am now understanding everything I code with Xamarin and C#

Nothing interesting in user count yet. Still 10-15 organic traffic a day in Month 6 of the site.

Expecting to double its numbers for next month.

Update:

The app sadly has been postponed because of security reasons, I will have to redo most of it in another language so it supports more security protocols.

So how is it going now:


Average users are up by 15% as of the last time I posted.
Also, most users now engage more with the site.

Probably because I changed the structure of categories etc.

Sadly still a slow steady climb. Probably because the first months I haven't posted a lot.
