Yes, they handle the ad account as it was related to several business managers. If one is disabled on one account, it may cause the deactivation of another one.
That's scary, I thought they only get banned with Ads. I have a few with 10+ pages and can't afford to lose them. Did you do have any login from new ip's? Did you have (many) pages on it? Or maybe spammed?
That's even worse, if you get banned on one account you lose all pages rather than just some of the ones you own. I think it's much better having multiple business profiles. But I want to understand why'd he get banned so hopefully op will share more info i.e. number of pages or what was the purpose of the banned account.

Facebook is now on the highest alert mode, it will disable all anomalous accounts, this is of course.
Basically, I have a lot of pages that I'm advertising. I have gotten my Ad Account deactivated before, but I always managed to get an appeal and reactivate them.

I think that is the issue, I remember a guy I know who was killing it with FB ads. Suddenly one morning all of his pages and ad accounts were deactivate, he didn't even run ads on some of them. Think Facebook is undergoing pressure from all sides, maybe that's why they are on high alert
