We are currently looking for (a) new proxy provider(s) for some of our new projects and I share my experiences during my research. It seems that many of those providers just make big advertising promises that correspond in no way with the reality so I hope I can help some mates to avoid needless time and money.

This is my experience with ABM.NET.

I signed up for the $1/1GB test package of abm.net and set up about 50 ports with country "Germany" and ISP "Deutsche Telekom" (which is the biggest ISP in Germany).
After testing with our own proy checker it turns out that ALL PORTS HAVE THE SAME IP! So they have just 1 (one) IP from "Deutsche Telekom" in whole Germany? If I would use this ports for working e.g. with our social media accounts all of our accounts would instantly get banned!

I asked the support of abm (via dashboard support ticket and also support email) regarding that results but no answer. In the meantime (as the $1/1GB test packages is limited to 24 hours) I set up a couple of new ports/proxies: From 16 states in Germany there were only about 4 or 5 available at all and after I generated 2 proxies from Berlin (the biggest city with a population of about 4 mil) the complete state of Berlin was grayed out, so no more IPs available from there!! Wow, I used up all the IPs from Berlin within seconds haha
The same thing with one of the biggest states, "North Rhine-Westphalia", after about 5 IPs it was empty and grayed out.

After another emphasised enquiry they responded with a vacuos email denying my testing results.

Abm.net claims on their website to have about 40.000 IPs in Germany so this number does not fit with my tests and experiences in any way. Maybe they had a technical problem at this point of time but my tests with many other proxy providers while my research are showing quite similar results. So they all have technical issues during testing or is it more the fact that they completely overdoing with their marketing claims.

My conclusion and advice is to very carefully test the providers before using them in production and risk to burn your valuable accounts and months of work.
