Hello guys, i had saved $200 from a long time as im a student from a third world country.

I tried to enter in dropshipping business but i have lost all $200 and i am really lost now i thought it would work but it did not i did influencer marketing in instagram as i did not have much budget for facebook ads. I chose pet niche promoting pet product.

Now i lost all my saved money and now i dont know what to do please suggest me how can i do better and revive in this game any suggestions are appreciated.

Also please suggest me some free traffic methods for dropshipping as i lost all my money and i am not looking forward to give up.

If the influencer sent any traffic at all, you could use those stats to build off?

Have you tried learning about SEO or even tried finding better products?

I've been told multiple times to contact the suppliers supplying the items you're drop-shipping to see if they can provide a lower cost..

Did you used a pixel on your webpage and track the visitors?

Also, did you have a good plan and did tests on your niche? Dropshipping is not an easy method to make money even when "gurus" say the opposite it takes time and a good plan.

Thank you very much for comment,
All together the instagram pages sent me 24 visits, how can i reuse this traffic?

I already started working on seo and dropped a couple of articles on my site.

I think contacting the suppliers only work if you are established and can actually drive sales.

Well, if you ended up with 24 visits after spending 200$, you need to read and learn way more. 200$ is not much money in this game at all, but you would get significantly more traffic on FB/ G Ads with that budget if you insist on paid traffic despite your lack of funding. This is really tragic and you could have avoided that easily if you did your research better.

You can't, 24 UV is literally nothing.

True, not repeating the same mistake again! Will try again next time.

I live in a third world country too mate, and facebook traffic (and other traffic sources except google) is way cheaper than influencers 3rd world countries, you should have done more research and asked more experts, that is what this forum is for.

I totally agree with this. I think he just copied a method of some dude (youtuber perhaps) and thought that he's all set. Good planning and extensive research is always the key.

Buddy we know you're bouncing a keyboard off your head at the minute, keep in mind we've all lost to gain. Stay with the community and you'll learn :)
Thank you very much for motivation man! appreciate it.

Thank you very much but can you give me some tip for testing product without spending money?

ecom requires a LOT of capital (like a lot of paid traffic methods actually)
if you're on a low budget, start with affiliate marketing, make money, save that money, then invest into ecom.

You should be getting more with paid ads.
My ADVISE, Take 10 days to study all you can on YouTube, Newsletters of gurus in Drop shipping and doing research yourself.
$200 is not much, but you should get way more traffic than you indicate above

In my opinion Influencer Marketing is kind of the same like Native Advertising because some sources can work really well and some can be absolutely terrible. The money that you need possibly invest can be huge because there's no guarantee that we find a good source after X amount of tests. With experience in that area we might spot the golden nuggets earlier but again that needs experience and testing. I myself didn't touched on those yet, but I am using Google Ads for example. Influencer marketing and pretty much every other advertising method works great when we have an ecommerce brand, because we don't need so high ROAS upfront. So with long-term game there's a lot more room for advertising budget to play with. Just my 2cents.

Dear... Sorry to hear that, but seems you jumped in this without any basic plan or projecting your steps. At first, you should have some basic knowledge then run the Business or project.

In general, $200 is not a much investment but could be effective if you have the right niche research, product research, some basic SEO, landing page customization/optimization, and the whole web page (if it's a general store). Dropshiping it's not so simple these days, sometimes you could have a bit of luck, but sometimes you could throw a lot of money into testing.

FB Pixel is also a very important part, where you should "feed" with traffic data and reuse that. The basic SEO should be done and optimized before starting any ads or promotions.

I could suggest using IG, Pinterest for some free traffic. But again if someone intent to buy from you it should have a positive impression at first glance. That included the points above (branding, design, website and pages optimization, mobile-friendly,).

In the end, I highly recommend watching some tutorials and free courses (do not go straight for paid ones). Maybe you will need a few some for the Dropshipping process and another one for FB ads or Social Media promotions.

I'm not sure what any of us could help you.

200usd for 24uv???? this "influencer" of yours has less influence than my childhood's pet turtle. seriously, that's borderline a scam, where did you get him from, fiverr??
what were his stats, how did you pay him, who contacted who? i normally would say "do your own research and stick to the deal and consequences", but this is criminal.

You pick a really bad influencer, probably a botted account.
Yeah i am sure the product was good i need to work more on finding influencers do you have any ideas or tools to do that?
