Can you add bitcoin/crypto to the options on account upgrades? I tried paying with my debit card but it didn't work. And I don't want to use paypal again.

I guess if you contact support they have this option but its only via support route but I agree they should have the address while payment

There should be an option. Because it is done through coinbase

Yes, you can pay via Bitcoin and other crypto’s, but it needs to be done via support.
