I was making $3K a month with Twitter back in 2019 with only a few hours of work per day, then out of nowhere Twitter pushed some anti spam update that made my whole business come crumbling down. I tried to rebuild, but Twitter countered my efforts promptly. I quit the platform afterward.

I still have a bunch of accounts left and randomly thought to myself earlier today "Why not take a look at Twitter and see If I can find a loophole that allows me to push affiliate links?" I took a look at Twitter just now, 2 years after I saw so much success with it, and as I thought, Twitter marketing has become even harder than when I quit in 2019.

The good news is I think I can adapt and will start with it again. I just need to get some preparations done, which will have to wait a few hours.

What's your thoughts on Twitter marketing in 2021?

I seriously don't think twitter is the best place to market products in 2021. But as you're experienced enough I would like to wish you luck. Please keep updating us about the results

Twitter is still profitable, but it is very punishing if you make a mistake in contrast to Instagram. Twitter is almost as merciless as Facebook, they will shut you down if you make a mistake.

With that said, I checked out my competition on Twitter and there's only very few of them. Years ago, Twitter was full of competition, spam and tweets that had dozens of hashtags each. Those days are over by the looks of it.

You are right in that it's not a place for spammy strategies anymore.

But twitter is full of real people with real needs. Thus, it's as great a place as any to sell ebooks at a high margin. Get eyeballs to your profile, make an offer --> it'll convert to sales.

The excellent thing about Twitter is it can be automated easily, there's so many bots and scripts available.

My other traffic sources require manual labor from me, so if I could find a way to get a worthwhile amount of traffic from Twitter, that'd be great. I'd be making money on semi autopilot, I'd just need to make sure the automation tools are running.

Back in 2019, my method was dependent on Twitter's search. I literally was making $3K a month with only 2 accounts.

Yesterday, I posted a two sentence tweet without hashtags or links and Twitter still shadow banned me. Twitter is highly selective with who they let into their search engine now. This wasn't always the case.

I reckon botters are to blame for this.

Harder than it was last year. Easier than it will be next year.

The same as every year in botting. Botting is dead! Long live Botting!

:)

Botting still works, but Twitter's search is ruined. At least in the NSFW niche. I get instantly shadow banned.

Now, I think Twitter has to approve accounts for their tweets show up in search. I have no other way of explaining why my aged phone verified accounts get shadow banned after posting normal tweets. Perhaps there's a follower and/or tweet amount requirement for tweets to show up in search (for NSFW marked accounts, at least), but this is just speculation.

Putting good content on Twitter used to be a viable way to market the platform without having to use blackhat means/botting. Now, there's no option but to use blackhat means.

It seems silly to grow accounts to XXX amount of unique tweets and followers just to show up in their search.

Keep going. I look forward to seeing if it work out.

I could use a good twitter bot myself to auto tweet people.

I have three traffic sources, Twitter is one of them. For me, Twitter has the least priority out of the three. I run my Twitter bot when I go to bed, that's about it.

There's lots of Brazilians and other T3 country audience in the adult niche of Twitter. It's not very profitable for me. It's like 20% T1, 20% T2, 60% T3.

not sure what your niche was but i returned to twitter 30 days ago (adult niche), so far i was able to get 80k followers and going up 2k-3 per day. Twitter is still a good platform but like you said, the bans now are more likely.

How many accounts do you utilize? Do you get shadow banned?

For me, the problem is not account bans, but search bans in particular.

1 account for now. When i get to 100k+ i'll start one or two more.

I got search banned instantly but my tweets still do well, averaging about 1k-2k RTs and 5k-10k likes per tweet

You just have to discover what is working. There's always a method

Not all aged accounts are the same. An account created in 2015 and never used isn't that much better than an account created last week. It is NOT a 6 year old account, twitter knows this.
Now an account created in 2015 AND USED for 6 years, now that's a different thing entirely

Now Twitter marketing is very difficult, few people are lucky, but you try it might get lucky

1 year old account. just post stuff that people can relate to, i mostly target Americans

I created 6 accounts last week on 2 different VPS. Phone verified them. Today I logged back in and one is asking for PV again. what do I do now?
Edit:
2 are still active. Gonna check 3. what's going on with them I guess it's a numbers game.
How are things with the aged account? How long they last if you do everything manually?
