Anonymity and cloudfare

Hi,

I see many black hat websites behind cloudfare.

AFAIK cloudfare requires registration and personal contact.

Is it possible to give fake infos to cloudfare? Or is cloudfare trustful for black hat marketers to give their real infos ?

If you're concerned about being found legally, then the answer is yes, you'll likely be found.

You can give fake info to Cloudflare, but they'll have your origin server IP.

Which means, unless you used fake info to buy your hosting and domain (including anonymous payment), then you'll likely be found.

But, lets say you did register the domain and hosting anonymously. Did you remember to login only using an anonymous VPN?

If not, then they'll have your IP from logging into the cPanel, then they can get your info from your ISP. You see how this goes?

Just don't do anything illegal.

It's because it gives free SSL, lowers bandwidth usage, and helps to hide the origin IP from other people. That's pretty much it.
