Wix is also not good for long-term solutions. I had several of my posts deleted without me knowing, which I had created in Nov 2019. I don't know why they delete whereas sites like Weebly or blogger lets your content stay on their sites.

Being platform as the service Wix must have a lot of pre-installed settings which you as end user will not be able to change or will have to upgrade the account in order to get opportunity to change.
In terms of SEO better to use classical tools so you will have whole control and will be able to make any change you need.

I don't know if it's the same now, as it's been a while and I know they've actually employed an SEO team.

However in the past, Wix sites where mostly built using Javascript almost exclusively, and despite what G say, they still don't understand it fully.

It also makes their websites slow.

Again though, might have changed, been a while.
