This op. And it has been posted a few times here already.
This is NOT a new tax it's only applicable if you don't provide tax info.
If your us resident or citizen nothing changes, if ur a foreigner if your country has a tax treaty you just deduct that from your taxes.

Anyway just my opinion, don't go on a forum for tax advise

It`s because income from Google has no taxes and a lot of content-makers outside the USA do not pay taxes at all.

This isnt YT tax, this is american tax, this is why you need to submit paper work so you can avoid it.

It's clearly written, if you don't provide your country's tax information, you will pay 24%, in some counties it might by 18% or 21%. If you don't provide nformation they will put you on 24%.
