Let's say I have a post about "the best smartwatch".

The article outline is basic and informative with images etc.

What do you think about my idea of embedding a quiz "Try this quiz to see which one of the products would suit you best" and the quiz would give an output depending on the users answers.

Goal is to make the user stay longer on the site and therefore impact SEO while still giving the user valuable information.

time spent on page might deliver some value, but delivers more value is you having users completing an activity on your site: clicking on an action button. that gives more value. i would make the quiz very short and say answer these 3 questions to see...... if users knows that there are only 3 questions to get result, they will be more inclined to complete your quiz

also, if you can put your call to action above the fold. it seems you get a better result from google perspective this way
