Bitcoin price is sitting around $54k this morning - it just dropped below that mark as I checked between computer and phone.

Maybe on the back of the PayPal acquisition news seeing as that was a positive sign for crypto in general.

It does make me wonder though, how many traders have automatic buys and sells set up about and below $50k and whether that keeps making the price yoyo around?

I wonder if it moved up enough now that it will keep rising, or whether it's going to keep yoyoing about as it has been doing for the last few weeks.

Whatever the case, all of this activity and media attention is good for crypto and BTC and that's the part that I hope keeps on coming.

at least this new makes happy and people can really earn and probably it will increase more ...

Not to the moon may be, but welcome back to earth. BTC. :D
So, the HODL tactic worked for me for the first time (inexperienced :p ). Not gonna let it go now. Gonna invest more once I get my salary next month. :D

p.s. not sure if it dropped in last few days, but i do remember buying it for lower. ;)

Same here mate. I have made a commitment to myself that I will hold onto it now and accumulate more BTC whenever I can afford to do so.

And yes, on Friday (4 days ago) it dropped below $47,000!

True, I just don't know how far this goes. Things seem to slow down.

I'll tell you when I buy BTC, price usually drops when I go in. :p

So you're the reason BTC is not 500k USD by now! I would request you to stop buying BTC. Please go and spoil other alt coins ;):smirk:

@davids355 Whats your honest view? how high it could go anytime soon, is the 55k or 56k glass ceiling?

I wonder when the next crash will come. This is not sustainable.

I was thinking the same, even though the crash is not going to be a real crash, I would say. Actually, that's what some of the experts are saying on YouTube. Probably not all of them are experts, but chances are some of them are right. It is a good chance to buy if you are like me - treating crypto like savings, and holding, and hoping that I don't have to cash out in the next 10-15 years. Good luck!

....is what said every bullrun. And it is true, price will go lower, but the top of this bullrun can go higher, much higher (some models predict ~288K).
If you look at the halving cycles, we still have a couple of months left before top.

Nothing goes up or down forever and looking at it every hour ain't making it any better or worse.

Keep on mind that :
- BTC production cost is just ~8500$
- Less than 20% of BTC holders hold 80% of the total BTC supply.

If TSLA shares keep bottoming I guess that they will be forced to sell BTC & buyback shares ofc others will follow.

Less likely but.. not impossible.

Still worth holding and playing with crypto <3

To be honest I don't know about the very short term. My ethos and the basis for my investing in Bitcoin is as follows -
  • Cryptocurrencies are here to stay. They represent the digital transformation of the finance industry.
  • Whilst the perception of crypto is instability, if you look at the past 10 years, it has been very stable in the mid-long term.
  • Bitcoin, for whatever reason, is the coin that's stuck. Its the most well known, it is essentially the brand that represents crypto.
  • All things considered, there is so much room for expansion of crypto and the price of BTC as it becomes more adopted, acknowledged and trusted.
I believe that Bitcoin could be perhaps $150,000 by the end of the year and that it could easily be $1,000,000 within the next 5 years.

I think that is a good sign for the crypto market. It shows that btc will always be a good idea for investing.
