Need ecommerce advice.

Hello guys,

I want to open store with furnitures from my local carpenters. They are making really good looking tables,cupboards etc. They are unique. I am from Poland and I would like sell it here but I would like to focus to sell in EU. Its becuase in my country we have lower costs and this furnitures are quite cheapper. But problems which I see are:
1. Huge shipping costs. Shipping large items for example to Italy is expensive.
2. How to convince foregin clients to buy from me and leave for example 1k-2k Euro? If my business is new?

My clients are people who want something special at home and will not get it in normal store. So they have money for this type of items too.

You're running a bit fast, first try to control the business in a small scale before jumping into a bigger venture.

1. That will always be a big expense until you become big enough to negotiate a contract with shipping companies, and still, I believe it will be a considerable part of your ROI. You can always cheat with a ''free shipping policy'' and include it in the price if able.

2. Day one won't get you lots of customers for sure yet you'd be surprised how irrational people can be when it comes to shopping. If they like it, price is fair and your company looks professional they will buy.

Yeah I know about include it in price. But I think, people know that sending this type of items must costs.
I am pretty sure price is fair but for this type of products I need to prepare huge budget for ads.
