I think its a good idea - so long as it still has protection via SL threads... if such transactions were "exemptified" from becomning SL threads with the same potential consequences, it could easily go from a great idea to a disaster - even destroying the reputation of the main BHW marketplace as a whole

An unmoderated Marketplace section is a good idea,

New BHW Marketplace section should act as an escrow between the buyer and the seller, and BHW could pay the seller on a Net-15 basis.

Reviews will also be more then more valuable.

The idea is good in my opinion, but that section would need moderation too, possibly it would lead to more shitlist threads, so either more mods would be needed or bigger payment for existing, paid ones. I can see it working for a reasonable fee. Either for a low flat fee like $5 or $10 per sale or probably even better, in a percentage system, something like 10% of the selling price with a $5 or $10 minimum, so the overly cheap stuff is kept out.

A trading (WTT) section, would be good too apart from this.

They could set something up like a fiver escrow.

We need a Want to Sell thread for Jr. VIP to be able to sell a product or service one-off. Selling does not necessarily have to be a BST all the time. There are situations where I just want to sell off what I do not need or just one unique product that could be beneficial to some buyers in the forum. In that case, I would be wasting money if I open a BST for it, especially if the product price is lower than the BST listing price. Also, such a product is just a one-time sale and wouldn't make sense to open a BST on one copy only.

I hope BlackHatWorld would consider this.

What you’re talking about isn’t far off what we currently do for the domains and websites for sale section in the marketplace. A one off won and done style of listing.

However, as mentioned above we review all products on the forum which means we maintaining a fair level of quality control. What would be the general feeling on a section that was clearly marked as “unmoderated” / Wild West - other than to check breaches of the BHW terms. ? This could allow listings at a lower price point or a percentage of revenue could be applied for one off services / low volume items as mentioned above?
Thoughts appreciated

Users and especially Newbies like me will not be able to trust this services which are "unmoderated" .
