So I'm looking at this and it's bugging me.

Long story short. I had some XLM and XTZ, I sent them somewhere, I sent ALL, but for some reason it did not send ALL, and now I have these leftovers there laughing at me

I hate loose ends. Maybe I'm OCD or whatever. I asked a friend about it, what people do in such cases, he says just leave it. But I can't just leave it. I mean, crypto, efficiency, precision, technology, blockchain quantum. You can't just leave it there.

Anyway, I tried trading or sending those leftovers, and I can't. Exodus shows that I have 0 balance if I try to send or trade.

So then, what do you do with these? Frankly, I would rather press a button and have them destroyed than have them just sit there being USELESS!

Wait for that 1 stellar to be worth $5, shoot someone other than yourself for not buying more, then once it's worth $5 you can probably withdraw it

You can't send it, it is a reserve.

So just leave it there? I hate that.

I mean, export the private keys and store them somewhere, okay. But still, hate it.

I have Stellar, I believe it will go higher in the years to come.

So that's it, wait for these peanuts to be worth more and then I can move them. Ugh...

I also have some coins on a exchange but it does not allow me to trade them. Do not know why ?

I already suggested this to the OP + paid the fee. Op is paranoid for $1 :D

It's not about the money bro.

It's about not eating that last bite of a slice of pizza, it's about not cumming after fucking, it's about loose ends :p

I dont know what wallet you have there but Stellar has a minimum balance amount on any wallet address of 1 XLM. Thats just how the protocol works, nothing you can do with it. If its on Binance though you could do the convert to BNB thing.

Wait a minute, you mean to tell me even if 1 Stellar goes to $50,000 (I'm exagerrating, just for sake of argument), I still won't be able to do anything with that 1 Stellar I got stuck there?

Just leave it for your Grandsons, it will be few hundred that time or 00

Correct. Plus the stellar network cant send less than 1 XLM, which you would be sending once fee's are deducted.

It could be a million dollars you still cant send it.

To solve this, we needed to introduce just the slightest bit of friction to deter bad or frivolous actors. Imposing a minimum balance on each account and a very small per-transaction fee were chosen as these deterrent costs. Right now, the minimum balance is 1 lumen and the minimum per-transaction fee is 0.00001 lumen. These are small enough to keep Stellar widely accessible, but big enough to discourage large-scale bad behavior.

i have $0.01 myself, wondering what to do with it since ages :D

You're telling current situation, but when it will be few $$ or more thing will change. they will update it again with minimum

You seem to be correct. That sucks. I don't like it.

Found this too -
Okay, so I guess now I know why I have that 1 Stellar stuck there. I guess though if I ever want to move my Stellar to a different wallet, I can import that 1 Stellar private key, and then add the rest of them on top of it. That way at least I don't keep losing 1 stupid Stellar coin every time I get a new wallet and want to add Stellar to it.

Though... this might not work.?

---

What about Tezos? Any idea why that's stuck there?

---

p.s I also emptied out my ETH, LTC and ADA, and they all emptied fully, nothing remains in the wallet.

So at least as far as this goes -> ETH LTC ADA > XLM XTZ

Well, according to this - https://support.exodus.com/article/1257-why-does-tezos-xtz-have-a-minimum-balance

Why does Tezos (XTZ) have a minimum balance?

Tezos is a special asset that has built-in rules on minimum balances held in Tezos addresses, just like some bank accounts where you have to maintain a minimum balance. In order to activate and use your Tezos wallet, you must first deposit no less than 0.275 XTZ into your Exodus Tezos address.

After that, your account will activate and everything will be just like you are used to with Bitcoin, Ethereum or any other Exodus asset, except that the 0.275 XTZ minimum cannot be moved out.

---

I have less than 0.275 XTX though. Maybe they reduced the requirement since Exodus posted that article.

Oh well, I guess these coins are gone. Still, I'm keeping the private keys and who knows what happens in the future.

I don't like Stellar and Tezos as much anymore. I like for 1+1 to equal 2. And this is not it.

Possible, but how high is 1 XLM ever going to get with a 50 billion max supply?

Though... this might not work.?

Yes just keep that 1 XLM in there and think of it as a fee to keep your account open.
Dont know enough about Tezos to comment sorry.
