I'm having a real hard time staying focused,
I open a blog, then another blog, then a writing service,
then I'm not getting a fast enough ROI, so I learn affiliate, then CPA, then SMM.

I feel like I'm getting mentally dizzy and unmotivated trying to catch all of these things at once,
so I came to the wise elders of BHW.. what do you do to stay focused?

Do you meditate?
Jack off?
Only do what you love? Perhaps it's just jacking off..
What do you tell yourself when your laser focus starts shifting to the side?

Something accrues with me, I think we give up because we don't see results

I think most people go through this stage for a while.

You only really start making good money when you get really good at something and provide value to people. Once you start seeing that it's easier to focus and commit to something.
Agree

Sounds like you have ADHD like me.

Get on meds or just decide to conquor it no matter what.

Right now, youre a sponge and soaking in as much as possible. One day it will hit you and everything you learned will all make sense and you'll find the area you want to move forward in.

To stay focus? Sounds crazy but I found this to work the best:

Meditation - just 10 minutes after waking up.
Bullet Journal - to keep a master inventory of your to do's and milestones as well as to forecast future projects
Gratitude/Daily Journal - to be filled out either last thing before bed or first thing after morning meditation. This is important, write in it the 3 things you can do the day of to move the needle (I know a second journal may seem redundant but this journal is more for your day to day to keep you moving the needle while the bullet journal can get you lost in your list of to do's).
Noise Cancelling Headset - I like to listen to brain.fm.
Pomodoro Technique - Use it with the ticking sound on. For some reason, it starts to feel like a game as the shot clock winds down. Nothing fancy, I use this one https://pomodoro.francescocirillo.com
Intermittent Fasting - 16/8. to raise your testosterone and keep you light on feet and mentally sharp
Exercise - again to raise testosterone. Doesnt have to be anything crazy, just 30 minutes is good preferably mid afternoon since I tend to begin to crash at that time. For some reason, after working out I feel renewed.
Supplements - Fish Oils, Daily multi vitamins, D3, Alpha brain.
1 Hour of Hobby time - Don't burn yourself out. Do something fun you enjoy. This can be watching an episode of your fave show, reading manga/comics, video game time, etc.

Hopefully that answers your question. You got this!

I have ADD, and this sounds like a textbook example of ADD / ADHD.

I have a rule: if I decide to start something, I have to work on it for at least 6 months, no excuses.

It helped me to prioritize opportunities and it made me realize that the idea is merely just a starting point.

Over time it will become better. And it will almost always take a few months before you see results.

Never have I ever copied and saved something so much.

I'm not a wise elder, but sometimes I can be a wiseass.

I've had that same issue (focus deficiency) since I was born. Not sure if it's actually add or adhd or too much ac/dc, but aside from that list of things to try (posted by Honey Badger), I have to suggest slowing down.

When I get into that frenzy, I tend to read everything way too quickly, and I can't retain anything until I slow down and read every word at a slower pace. Slowing down is a bitch to do because everything in my mind goes by way too quickly, and there's always a song playing there, and they're not always good ones.

To fight through the chaos, I have to read very slowly, which requires a lot of focus in itself, but once I slow down, I get more efficient at knocking things off my to do list.

So, people believe you need an add-on to focus

what a lie

You just have to focus, the same way like you walk when you need or want to walk

It’s a natural stage you go through I guess, whilst you try and find what you’re good at. When you find that, then you will start to focus down and cut out the stuff that is not an effective use of your time.

Something accrues with me, I think we give up because we don't see results
That's definitely a big part of it for me, as soon as I start earning 1-2$ a day, I'm good,
but blogs in particular take over a year to start producing.. That's why my mind's wandering towards services and CPA now.

I think most people go through this stage for a while.

You only really start making good money when you get really good at something and provide value to people. Once you start seeing that it's easier to focus and commit to something.
Yeah, I'm sure, once something starts producing I'll have no problem focusing and providing more and more value.
I guess it's another stage.

Having a rest. Our brain protects itself from overstrain by loosing a focus. Neurons working on the same task need recovery. They are tired.
That's true, I always feel better after a trip to the mountains or somewhere open.. Problem is my country's still in lockdown.

This will worsen the situation
Oh yeah.. I can tell.

Sounds like you have ADHD like me.

Get on meds or just decide to conquor it no matter what.
I've been told that since highschool, always refused meds though.
I guess that is the case, but I have times in my life when it's "smooth"

Meditation + Cold Showers + Quit Social media watch this documentary (the social dilemma)
Thanks, definitely gonna check out the movie. I've been doing cold showers on and off,
just once you stop it's goddamn difficult to start again. Same with meditation, although it's less difficult to start again.
Gonna do both today though.

Thank you, that is a golden comment, definitely gonna start applying some of these this week. Already have an empty journal and some fish oil laying around somewhere.

Yeah, I guess my highschool teachers were correct.

I have a rule: if I decide to start something, I have to work on it for at least 6 months, no excuses.

It helped me to prioritize opportunities and it made me realize that the idea is merely just a starting point.

Over time it will become better. And it will almost always take a few months before you see results.
That is good, by my calculations, it's about 3-5 months when I start looking to the side.
Gonna stick to 6

Ahahaahha that is too damn accurate.
Definitely gonna take that advice of slowing down, because that frenzy is real and not much comes out of it.

So, people believe you need an add-on to focus

what a lie

You just have to focus, the same way like you walk when you need or want to walk
If you let me walk for 6-12 months in the same direction, I'll definitely lose focus.

It’s a natural stage you go through I guess, whilst you try and find what you’re good at. When you find that, then you will start to focus down and cut out the stuff that is not an effective use of your time.
Thank you, I guess that is part of the process as well.. Trying and crossing off.

Modafinil.
Lol, is that basically Adderall?

I appreciate all the comments, wise elders of BHW. You've given me a lot to think about and a lot to try.

Lol, is that basically Adderall?
No it's absolutely nothing like adderall.

Adderall is legalised crystal meth. Modafinil has no addictive potentiality and does not create euphoria or a high. It does however make working insanely easy and productive.

Modafinil is widely used by entrepreneurs and is something I've used for years without negative effects and with serious benefits.

Huh.. Definitely gonna check it out, thank you.
