What is the best strategy to increase your overall portfolio.

A) Mining with latest GPU's - Hodling Coins - Selling GPU's before the warranty is over?
B) Buy and HODL - Simple ( Dollar cost average)

A or B ?

When do you plan to hold to though?

So far, buy and hold has been the better option for low budgets.

Minning looks like a good idea when you live in a country with cheap electricity and you have some funds to invest (because a decent mining rig can cost thousands or tens of thousands of USD).

I'm not into mining and such, but how would they know you've mined?

When you mine, the GPU's temperature goes to 70+ Celsius for 24 hours every day. Gaming you do that 8 hours max if you are a streamer. Very low chances you use the GPU more than that. So that's a third of mining.

There are visible details on the graphics card that can tell. There are cases that you don't even make it to the warranty date. The video cards can just burn out.

You make sense but nowadays undervolting and overclocking helps you to get the best speed in low risk (no burn)

Both are risky beside if you have solar panels to mine electricity free but you still have to get back the Gpu's cost.

So,there are actual burn marks on the GPU, that's really interesting, i didn't knew. Thanks

Trading crypto with jet-bot. I make 1-2% daily with that bot. Over a year thats a fair return on investment.

I will select B (Buy and HODL) rather than A (Mining), mining is tough compared to HODL.
