Beginner in drophipping - no sale

First of all, many thanks to all the blackhatworld community, for sharing tips and interesting topics. I've been reading you for years !

Since I'm tired of being a salaryman, I started dropshipping in january with what seemed like a good product. A magnificient puzzle coming strait from Aliexpress.

As I wanted to cut in expenses, I started with a Woocommerce site that I wanted to update with time and feedbacks from clients and friends. However, in the month that I tried dropshipping it seems like nothing works for me.

At first, I tried Google Ads, but I felt like it was not targeted since I either used a bad keyword campaign (high competitivy on targeted keywords, hence high costs) or an intelligent campaign that is not really good for targetting a specific audience. I got 1 sale in 2 weeks. Then tried Snapchat, which I stopped after a day (bad move) and switched to Fb ads. I tried a few ads, but even if I saw my bouncing rate drop to 50% , still no sale.

Since I now that I did many things wrong, I'm looking for some help in order to help me improve for my next attempt. I to post my previous website for connaisseurs to tell me what I did wrong in my first website and to improve in the future pls --> https://www.mindnessgames.com/

Your site looks clean and good, it's a little bit slow at my end but I don't think that this would affect sales. So I would improve your ads in the first place.

Btw I saw some ads for the same product at Tiktok. Maybe it's a traffic that can be interesting.

Disclaimer: I'm not an expert, this is from the perspective of the potential customer.

You should focus more on storytelling. Forgive my harshness, but if your ads were as lame as your website it is no surprise that nobody bought the shop gives absolutely no hints about how is the product used and what is the end result. You are not selling a puzzle, you are selling good times, mental clarity, impressing someone with something unique. Focus on emotions. I would first add a fancy video to impress the visitor and evoke desire. Now it looks like those coloring pages you can print at home, nothing special.

Read up on the basic human urges like avoiding pain and gravitating towards pleasure, it is great for writing better copy Imo the copy is just horrible. Use more power words. I would write the reduce stress first on the panda, it should be the main focus when someone looks at it. The price is NOT a factor you should emphasize. Someone who falls in love with the product will buy it regardless of the price. I would emphasize other qualities, e.g. it looks good on instagram, the kids will be quiet while they play with this, etc, you get what I mean. Find some other benefits that are based on emotions. But honestly I am not sure if this is the right product for dropshipping, they say that the ideal product is something that solves a problem or a passion product. For the latter imo it's a bit weak, but this is just my opinion. Good luck in the future

Thank you very much to the both of you.

TBH my ads were even worse. I get what you say.

I feel like I didn't really market my product and was a bit lazy in really trying to use some wording to describe it and make the customer relate to it.
On the other hand, I think trying woocommerce instead of Shopify was a bad move since it would require some additionnal ork to customize it.

I'll try again on a new product in the beginning of the month.

For my ads on fb, I tried the following :


single Image ads


Target :
Location : US excluding cities (I tried to target suburbs)
Age : 30 - 54 after a few tweaks. I tried 30- 60+ at first
Interests : Casual game, table games, Puzzle
Education level : University and +
Comportements : active shoppers


I got 3 ads but I think I tweaked too much expecting a result every few hours, without letting th FB algorithm do the job.
Honnestly, the targeting didn't seem too fucked up and I got a pretty good result on CPR (~0,20€) but I didn't get the FB Pixel at first so I can't give more insights on the targeting
