This is not legally allowed.

You won't be able to monetize it, except maybe through an MCN

I have a sports highlights compilation channel. Nothing special, hundreds of videos, about 2.7k subscribers, 1.5 million total views. I’ve made roughly $2000 AUD in the last 12 months. During off season it can be $4-7 per day and trade/free agency period and finals (playoffs) period it easily hits $10-20 per day.

In order to avoid copyright infringement, each clip must be under 15 seconds long. And if you use multiple clips from the same game, chances are if they add up to around a minute (5x12 second clips for example) then it also will be detected as copyright infringement.

It can be done (although not sure if different countries have different rules- if you’re technically creating your own content with a highlight reel it should fall under fair use of the clips), but you just need to figure out the amount of consecutive time it takes for a clip to be detected by your chosen sporting organisation. As I said, mine is the AFL (Australian Football League) and is usually around 15 seconds for a consecutive clip or a minute total from a specific game.

I recommend to make it out of different clips that are 5-7 seconds long, and don't use its original audio. When uploading, make it unlisted and wait few days, if video isn't getting any copyright claims, then freely make it available to all

"If I want a TV channel logo with my own logo without editing the video, is that ok?" yes it is quite necessary
