Hello mates

Today, I found that one of my majors competitors has a forum, where the signature are all ********.

It's a good idea to start to do smart and good comments on his forum (for not be banned for spam or some shit like that), to, progressively build a big number of backlinks coming from his domain? (all with my anchors texts, of course)
Or I can be banned in google or something like that?

Thanks my mates ^^

You can do that, but if you are his competiter then I wouldn't expect the links to last on his forum

Well thought-out comments are always good. And ya, I would leave a link on his site with the correct anchor text if you can; however, I wouldn't add more than one link back to your site. I've tried it and personally I haven't had much success with more than 1 or 2 links per domain/ip.

As for google ban, no.

Very true. I would post on other similar Niche forums.

the forum is quite big, with about 150 members online
so I don't think the site owner will be checking every signature ^^

Well, in that case, just go and mark your presence there ;)

NOTE: I love to create 500 FREE ******** Backlinks, if you are that Cute as in the pic in Real Life :D

It`s worth a shot, but keep an eye on them bc they`ll most likely get deleted and be wasting your time doing it further.

That's correct. Don't make too many posts on his forum because the links would all come from the same IP. Put your efforts in creating one or two excellent posts to increase your chances of not getting deleted. That's enough. There's no advantage in getting many backlinks from the same IP.

So it's not a good thing be posting, lets say, 5 posts per day on the forum, with my link in the signature?

All you need is 4 or 5 links from the forum. Choose to put your link on the highest PR / most keyword relevant pages.

Also, your links will carry a higher value if you can surround them with relevant keyword rich text.

If the talk is already about subject related to your anchor text do you think it matters really if its in the post or signature ?

Yes. Google can identify signature links. It prizes links which are contained within a large body of text, as it indicates they are more informative and have a higher value.

If you wanted to get backlinks for promotion of the SERP, much better if you go to another different forums. Don't stick just one forum especially to the site of your competitor.
