I just kick started a new shop, and I got Oscommerce CRE 6.15 installed is there some people here running the same scripts and could give some seo advice?

Maybe general SEO for oscommerce? It would probably benefit the community?

I would gladly send my new web shop link to anybody that?s pm me? if you are new to drop shipping I will help you as much as I can.

Regards
R!

run from the devil is my advice, osc is the biggest pos in existance when you start to have issues (and you will)

I have been doing ecommerce successfully for 3 years. Actually my site is at auction at the moment as I am moving away from it. But it is a great earner. IF done correctly. Move away from cre and use Zencart.

PM me if you want some help with the SEO, I have gotten my sites to the #1 spot in all the major search engines for my keywords.

I agree with using Zencart, I've had a lot more luck with it.

Well it?s kind of hard to move away from oscommerce and CRE right now? I bought a package and invested some money, not much,but... well I?ll give it a try for now and if the shit hit?s the fan, well then I?m the looser?

osc will treat you fine -

make sure you get all links 'titled' and all images 'alted'

those two will seo your site wonderfully

Hi,

Have a look at Magento Commerce

It's fairly new out but has extensive SEO capabilities built in, I'm developing a store with it at the minute

Magento is a pain in the as* even during installation. Definitely not for noobs

i prefer oscommerce and lots of my client using osc because of its flexibility to modify. zencart dont have lots of contribution.

magento needs very powerful hosting. shared hosting is not recommended

why cant share hosting handle magento? what will happen if i do host it on a shared account? slow loading times? or something more serious?

I have had good experience with zencart so far. I tried oscommerce but ran into some problems. The only complaint that i have with zencart is the lack of professional looking templates.
