Facebook private message link preview

Hello, when I send a private messagea sending something like a Youtube link it doesn't send the thumbnail preview anymore and it just paste the link.
Do you confirm it's working like that now?

done already and not showing up

I think it has something to do with the new privacy rules/laws. When facebook removed the option to give people nicknames in messenger and removed the feature to look what videos/images you have sent to other person the video preview thumbnails also disappeared in chat.

Yes, this is exactly how it works, I agree the system is strange, but what to do, I don't know other ways)
