What're people's thoughts?

In essence, here's the set-out plan from Bojo:

8th March - Schools reopen & can meet outdoors with one person

29th Marc - Stay at home order ended, outdoor gatherings of 6 or two households allowed, organised sports allowed outdoors

12th April - Most outdoor attractions can open, including beer gardens, non-essential retail & hairdressers can also reopen

17th May - Social contact rules outdoors lifted, indoor mixing allowed, rule of 6, indoor hospitality can open like cinemas

21st June - all legal limits removed - night clubs can reopen and large events

Seems decent enough. Hopefully this time we won't have to go back, and vaccination is going pretty well.

Maybe a staggered return to schools would have been better though. Looking forward to getting a haircut and getting back in the gym.


These are the four conditions.

1. The coronavirus vaccine programme continues to go to plan
2. Evidence shows vaccines are sufficiently reducing the number of people dying with the virus or needing hospital treatment
3. Infection rates do not risk a surge in hospital admissions
4. New variants of the virus do not fundamentally change the risk of lifting restrictions

Doesn't matter. Im still going to keep 2 meters away from everyone, not shake my colleagues hands, and not socialise with anybody.

Having spent the best part of a year learning new habits as in trying not to get close to people on pavements etc. Not meeting up with friends. Not going anywhere for pleasure as such. I do wonder if people have changed more than they realise.
Will people go back to old habits ie a coffee on the way to work or do they now realise they don’t need it and it has cost them quite a bit over time.

That's because the government know, loads of gyms and pubs will not reopen, their already bust just claiming the small buisness handouts and then bankrupt themselves as soon as they stop.

Image how much the government will save over the next 15 years from all the state pensions and disability allowances that no longer need paying

Guessing the logic is. People are outside and not exhaling over each other from exercise, obviously though once alcohol is in play people’s common sense can leave them.

Totally agree with the pubs bit I think they have to start paying back in April unless he has put that date back.

All these crazy leaders are bad people acting like shit with their population.

Free the people and let them live instead of putting them in stupid quarantine for a virus that has known and efficient treatments (ivermectine number one, then HCQ and Artemisia Annua). Stop killing people and economy.

Some countries are doing good for their people, like in Africa, Madagascar, India, these countries are ruled by real leaders who protect their population.

The others in EU, US, CA, etc, are liars and who know what they are preparing for the future they already planned everything

Hopefully people are starting opening their eyes. In Italia for example they don't accept all this crap anymore.

ugh, I had a rabies vaccine as well about 30 years ago. Got bitten by a mongoose as I was relocating a colony.

Not much different up here in Scotland. I am booked in for my first vaccine on 10th March as well; just found that out today.
The thing I am most looking forward to when restrictions are relaxed (And when its safe to do so) is travelling down to see my mum and dad in England.
Have a British airways voucher from a cancelled trip last year so hopefully not long before I can get down to see them (And the rest of my fam).
