Learning the KGR method, is this keyword a good candidate?

Hi all,
I'm looking at a keyword that has a volume of 2400, 5 allintitle results, and an ahrefs kw difficulty score of 11 (medium). Ahrefs says that I'd need about 12 backlinks to rank in the top 10.
I'm trying to determine whether it's conceivable for a new site to rank on this kw. What other factors must I consider? Top Serps domain authority? Page authority? Number of backlinks?

The problem is with this approach is that you are working in the dark, these tools just estimate and they are rather inaccurate, there are so many more factors than search volume and backlinks determining ranking

Manually check how competitive it look... What are the DR / DA of the websites that rank in the top 10 and determine whether you'll be able to rank for it or not
