Cold emails should be simple

That's a perfect draft

I do love the plain text cold emails than the HTML ones and they do have high chances of hitting the inbox compared to to HTML ones.

The problem with cold emails though, is that the message doesn't actually get through.

If I read that as a recipient, I read the following -

Dear so-and-so,
I am trying to sell some random thing to you. I got your email somehow.......... JUNK.

That's the thing you forget about cold emails. Nobody is expecting, wanting or asking for them and your actual intention stands out a mile off because the human brain with emails is a bit like Google with search results. Its seen so many of them it can instantly determine what they are about without actually looking through all of the details.

Purely from a recipients viewpoint, I think the biggest barrier with cold emailing is breaking through that guard and producing an email that says something like -

Hi, this email is quite possibly from someone you know. This isn't the normal spam email that you didn't want. This is something different. Read on........

Know what I mean?

Spot on!

Hitting the inbox is the key here, and that's the challenge. Email copy is the least of your problems

Its great and CREATIVE DRAFT.. You have found the issue, have a solution and gave an incentive..

Cold email traffic can work for some services, but I never read emails from unknown senders.

That’s a bad email. You’re better off sending a general email with the problem and question first.

Hi, the audio was a bit crackly. What platform do you guys use?

They’ll respond. Then you throw them a small pitch to hop on a call.

I promise your email will get left on read and skipped. KISS, Keep it simple stupid

If you wanna sell product over cold email, forget about it. Try inbound marketing like ads. You are building once and selling multiple times. So you are not limited by man hour and you can scale. All you gotta do is create campaign with positive roi. You already got winning product. That the assumption you need to start with. If not you then need to get a winning product.
People are still using cold email to sell services though, but it's getting difficult day by day.

Cold email is never outdated.

There are many people earning a living using cold email to make sales.
This!

Cold email still works like a charm for people who know how to make it work

Curiosity and Intrigue are your primary trump cards to play for creating engagement & interest with cold email outreach.

Starting slow seems to be key. Start slow, track, and tweak.

That plays a large part in emailing yup

ive been setting up email servers for clients since 2008. I would estimate about 80% of them loaded up their email list and got blacklisted within the hour. Those that listened to me are still emailing using the same IP it was setup on.

What would be your 5 most effective rules to achieve successful email delivery?
