Question about bad links

Hello all,

I have got few d*f*llw links from torrent sites, which according to ahrefs has DR like 29,41 etc and UR 10.
But, according to a SEO consultant those links might harm my site ranking or get penalized.

Should I disavow them or work towards getting those links removed completely?

Looking for your opinion.

Generally torrent sites are considered a "bad" link source. However, I haven't seen any actual proof they can harm rankings.

How long have they been live and what are your rankings?

Those links are live for atleast one year. Many of these sites are clone of original kicka**torrent. (Can dm you the to**ent domains)
My current ranking is very very bad. Got some seo work done (both on and off-page) 1-2 months ago but hardly any movement.

For VPN site, torrent site links are niche related links.
Do not worry.. These links will be helpful for you.
Google is not an idiot. If your SEO consultant is right, why don't people build some torrent links for their competitor and and see all the competing sites go down the drain?

Since it's bad, I suggest you do everything possible to improve it.

That includes contacting website owners and removing potentially harmful links.
