So does anyone still use paypal on their ecom stores, specifically dropshipping? I heard that if you have a new store and start without paypal your conversion will be slightly lower than if you started it with paypal but not bad, but if you have a store doing well with paypal and take it off, your conversions will plummet.

I don't even think it's even worth using paypal for dropshipping with all the holds and stuff, especially if your running subs. Let me know your thoughts

PayPal is the best option for Buyers so you have to use it to increase your sales

Stripe is better option with its premium features enabled or else you will get scammed.

No choice but to use paypal. It's generally used worlwide. Most of my buyers are paypal users (90%)

Yes, that is the easiest way to get started, no weird verifications, no video calls to get accepted as a merchant.
Just create an account and sign up, their fees arent super high compared to other merchant as well.
It is still the best imo

okay but there is someone who was using for example paypal and stripe and after some time disable paypal? did you notice a lot less sales?

PayPal is essential. I've worked for a company that has an e-commerce with $1 million annual revenue and 30% of the sales came through PayPal. Another very simple and popular payment method is Amazon Pay.

Any thoughts on google pay and apple pay or shoppay?

Not worth it. Using paypal is such a hassle, especially with all the limits and restrictions. I've only used it on my first store, but haven't seen a significant decrease in my conversion rates after removing it. If you don't have the option available, people are completely fine whipping out their credit card and paying using that.

People are always confident using paypal to purchase items from me because they know that they can always chargeback. I just make sure that I can defend my sales in case of any disputes etc. I still use paypal
