Facebook Business Verification Frustration

Hey everyone,

I'm getting started with a new business and I created a Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp accounts to test the market.

Today, Facebook has decided to disable the WhatsApp number and is asking for company verification. The Facebook Ads account is also not working.

I can't verify the compnay because it's still not incorporated. Does this mean that I have to incorporate JUST to have Facebook even if I'm still not sure if this business is worth the effort to pursue? What do you guys do in these cases?

Perhaps a better question is: are all Facebook businesses verified or I just had bad luck?

Not all BMs need verification. You should appeal or create a BM to run again

the verification and BM is irrelevant. Your BM will still be verified if your information is correct

I just made one. All integrated include instagram shop without any problem or verification except email and phone number verification code.

Just to understand your question/issue here a little better: do you mean that Facebook disabled your Business Manager without you touching Ads Manager at all? Or did you made some sort of an action (i.e. added credit card)?

@diamondhands, I have been using this account for almost 2 months now. When I saw that messages were not arriving in WhatsApp, I signed in BM to check where the problem was in the BM and I saw this:

I asked their support and I just got this:

Hello

Thank you for reaching out to us. Looking up at the records, the WABA ID XXXX shows the business is not verified and the phone number associated with it is disconnected. Please complete the verification to proceed further with the connection.

I'm guessing that this comes from signing up to the WhatsApp Business API while trying to connect it with Twilio. It seems that the number can't be downgraded to normal WhatsApp number now, so at this point I either verify the business account or I have to get a brand new number.

Frustrating.
