Is disavowing links basically snitching on yourself?

I bought some HIV infected AIDs inflicted black hat links
Either my 2-3 month old site is still in sand box or the 500 backlinks in one week
has successfully got me shadow banned. The package is over now but my backlink is
still increasing ffs.

Ppl on reddit tell me to disavow them. But doesn't that mean im just telling goole im sketchy?

Just disavow. Don't worry about it much.

exporting using search console doesn't give me all the links that ahrefs does, do I have to wait till google update my list?

yes, disavowing is telling google 1) I am doing seo, see, I monitor my backlinks and 2) these are garbage backlinks
nobody has ever made a convincing argument why disavowing is a good idea
"so google won't count them" google already knows those are garbage and won't count them
"so google doesn't penalize you" have you been sleeping for the past 2 years? google doesn't penalize for bad backlinks anymore
if you're paranoid that you fucked up your site, just start with a fresh domain. disavowing will either be ineffective, or cause more harm.

don't do it

500 links in 1 week?

OUCH

Also, I'm assuming they are not niche-domain relevant or contextual links as well, right?

Disavowal reports aren't self-snitching since Google knows NEGATIVE SEO is a thing

Let me put it this way, many Fiverr mass link gigs won't be offered if people weren't ordering them to blast their competitors

some ppl saying I will never hit rank 1 anymore because I am on the "spam" list

I agree with this.

I don't use any Google shit on my sites, and I've never gotten penalized with quite heavy BH SEO, on tons of sites.

Who the F wants to connect Google to your site when you're gaming Google? Makes zero sense to me. It's like inviting FBI for breakfast when you're cooking meth in the kitchen.

im connected via search console for sitemap submission.. and analytics... how do you run a site without those two

you are showing google you are being responsible and managing whatever dirt others(or yourself) throw at you(yourself)

I just... run them? I don't see why you'd ever need search console or analytics for a site. I've used it on 1 site a long time ago, the rest of the 70+ sites I own are not connected. And they rank just fine.

lol how much longer are you going to buy google's bullshit
when you disavow, you're telling google "here mr. google, I am doing seo on my site, here are the backlinks that I am actively monitoring"
the goal is to look natural. in a natural world, you don't monitor your backlinks (you don't even know what a backlink is)

Noob question. How do you monitor traffic without Google analytics?

I don't really. I check Semrush sometimes but that's about it. There's probably a ton of plugins/tools for it though.

I monitor the income. If the site makes money, it's all good. :p

It's very natural for any business to be reviewing their own shit.
So if you have google reviews or trustpilot reviews, amazon reviews that are from some randoms trying pull down your business, you will just leave it alone?
yeah didn't think so.

in other words, what you are saying is, SEO Agencies are all illegal then.
https://ads.google.com/home/resources/seo-vs-ppc/google says otherwise.
Better yet, why would google bother showing you links to you on GSC then?
If it's superrrrrrr against their policies to check

agree with everything @firstnamelastname has said. still have not see any use case where using disavow tool has helped with improved rankings.

From the moment you create the account in GSC you are telling Google: Hey I'm doing SEO, see?
GSC has the own inspector for shit links, and you can disavow from there.
Google knows about good practices in SEO that includes disavowing and 301 useful 404.
Otherwise, I don't think why they would have created such tools.
