Why Google has not changed my site meta description?

I changed my meta description on the homepage, but still after weeks it does not change on search results.

Any advices?

I think Google needs to reindex your website. Submit it through the search console and give it some time.

The reason could be Google has not reindexed your website.

It won't help. It would be as helpful as running lighthouse or pagespeed insights audit. The latter intuitively would be better because these are crawlers created by google team themselves.

This cut out the option of picking the meta desc or title from your content.
Look it up on google.

I eventually discovered that's an obsolete technique, just didn't remember about this thread.
It doesn't work anymore indeed.

There are not very many tips on this issue since this is a system and there is nothing to be done
