Demonetized for reused content

... but I still have enough playing hours and subscribers to apply again.
Since I don't want to delete the old videos, if I make private all the videos I have and start posting brand new videos, could it work?
The question is: making old videos private is the same as delete them? They won't consider them as a reused content anymore since no one could see them?

You can make them private and reapply. Just make sure that you don't put them online again if you don't want to run into the same situation.

Since I don't know which of them are "Reused Content" I will make private them all so before applying again I need to post brand new videos.

Not possible lol. How do you not know where you have reused content? Have you created them yourself or just stolen full clips or snippets of others?

When do you post videos? And how frequently?
If you put them under Private, they're still there..and as far as i know you could send it to other people..so they're not counted as "deleted" because your viewing hours of the past 12 months are still on those "reused" content and not on the new one..
You do know that the viewing hours are to get monetized need to be in that year right?
Also how Many subs do you have?

Don't. Also i asked, how many videos did you post? And how often..because if you repost the same stuff over and over again..ofc they will not monetize you.
If you reuse other peoples content for your content, the same thing goes. Here is an explanation:

Reused content is separate from YouTube's Copyright enforcement, which means it's not based on copyright, permission, or fair use. This guideline means sometimes, you may not get claims against your content, but your channel may still violate our reused content guidelines.


That would mean you use content that is already on youtube..thats why i asked how many do you repost..or steal. Are those memes?
Because meme channels can work, but it's harder to get them to work.

Go out and document things in different perspectives (maybe combined with keyword research using VidIQ) OR shoot inhouse on your phone or buy a good camera. Hope that helps!

You are lucky, Youtube sees your re-upload as the "original" one. Anyone else who try to do the same will get the reused content hammer.

You should build content around those two viral videos. Here is the most easy way, make a reaction video about that topic. Pick any viral video with that topic and just do some commentary. But be careful and clever to avoid any possible copyrighted material on the video you pick.

Here is a mindset for people who reluctant to show their faces on camera: The viewers do not come to see you. They only come because of the topic they love.

So just be nice, positive and supportive in your commentary. Even if you're ugly AF, they still will like your content. Simply because of the topic they love.
