I've bought a web hosting plan from Hostinger for 1 year (for $100)
Now I see that their speed is not that impressive and I don't really like their service
I want to switch to siteground or some other fast and reliable company

What can I do now with the hosting I got for a year? Can I sell it to someone? What are the options?

You can start couple of automated news website with wordpress which works on RSS FEED using wp automatic plugin.

Put some blogs on it for link backs to your main site.

100$ is quite expensive specially from hostinger. Hostinger runs several campaigns selling it at very cheap rates i don't understand how you ended up paying so much. Have you talked with support asking for refund?

It is for 12 months
Isn't it cheap?
Hosting for 12 months should be cheaper?

It has to be much cheaper. You can get decent hosting at 5-6$ a month with reputed hosting companies. Hostinger is just overselling
