Amazon $1000 Let's Go

So in my last thread where I made a little money with CPA through Bing Ads, I inadvertently started to make some money with Amazon. Made some mistakes that led me to start a new site. The site I'm developing is just under 2 months gold and has thousands of products on it so far. My goal is to get it to 10k products. I actually believe that it can be done before the end of 2021.

The site still feels like it's in the Google sandbox but hopefully once Google sets it free it will take off ? Who knows.. we'll see how this journey goes.

Journey goal: Amazon $1000 payday.

Right now that doesn't even seem remotely possible, but I'm willing to grind away and stick with it.

Yesterday's stats: 20 clicks, 26 orders 130% conversion. Then there's today... 1 sale.. just shaking my head, but again.. the site is still only 2 months old soooo it's still encouraging but hoping to see this take off sometime in the next 6-12 months. I need prayers, coffee (gotta have that whip cream, carmel, sugar) and some luck !

Still learning, not a complete newbie to the game but still feel like it at times because there are other people killin' it and I feel like I'm centuries away from that kind of success. Not a review site. Just an ecommerce site.

Agreed, they are low and that's where good keyword research comes in. Target items that people are searching for. Ideally target high ticket items that people are searching for in the higher commission categories according to your rate card. That's where you should begin.

I don't think you can get all of your products indexed, but if you are surrounding those products with a lot of good content, that makes it easier to get those items indexed. On indexing, I recommend using more than one indexer. There are many different responses around here regarding indexers.. I'd pick a couple out of the recommendations and see what your indexing rate looks like from there.

As I mentioned in my opening statement, my site is less than 2 months old and it feels like it's stuck in the mud right now, but there is a Google sandbox and no matter how much content you build or links you throw at it.. it'll still find ranking difficult until Google releases it from their sandbox. Sucks.. but that's just the way it is for newer sites.

There's no way to check the sandbox that I know of. What kind of activity are you seeing in your Google Webmasters Console ?

1/ How many articles do you have? And how many words? One article, several product pages with some content on it generated from plugins that pull in Amazon content. the one article I do have (more on the way though) is over 2k words.
2/ What is your budget? Budget is flexible.. no set amount.
3/ How much does it cost you to buy articles? That varies, but for a good content provider.. $200 for 5 articles at 2k words per article seems competitive in terms of pricing. I don't have to have that many words, but I think that long form content works better.. "especially" for new websites.
4/ What tools do you use? Won't name all of the specific ones I use, but I would say to somewhat emulate what I'm doing, use an ecommerce plugin and work on the look and feel of the site to give the visitor a good experience.. I will however tell you that wp rocket is a good recommendation, divi or elementor are recommended, woocommerce, pretty links, social media plugins etc.

Gotta give it time. When the site is new such as yours and mine, you'll drive yourself nuts checking whether you're getting visitors each day. Just focus as I do.. work on building content, adding products and doing keyword research for easier low hanging fruit targets that wouldn't be hard work for a new site to rank for.. always check keyword difficult and aim for targets under 50.. ideally under 40 if you can find them if you're using Semrush.. I don't use Ahrefs so I can't speak to that.

If I'm being realistic, I don't expect my site to do much flexing for at least 6 months from now.. if it happens sooner, that's great, but when it's new, it's going to take a lot of time. Just build content (lots of it in the meantime)...

Also be sure to set up your social media channels. Those channels like Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram etc, all have a ton of traffic and authority. Setting up content on those platfforms will help you get exposure and some referral traffic. You may also want to think about doing some guest posting as well.

The title and description can only hold so much keyword. Idk if Shopify Products title and description gets indexed the same as Wordpress sites...None of my products show up on searches even if I type in the EXACT phrase. Maybe its the sandbox effect..

Hmmm... well I don't claim to know enough about shopify to know the in's and out's of how SEO is performed there. Maybe someone else can chime in as this thread grows on that subject. However, I still would maintain that you need to give it time while you build content in the meantime.
