I don't know the whole process, but it's a difficult one. Subtitles are much easier.

Is there a way to copy subtitles while watching to understand?

You can use subtitle. But if you are thinking about dubbing it to another language then it's quite hard.

Are you talking about subtitles? Or Audio?
For subtitles it's super easy to find a translated version in your language. Usually I get mine from YIFY. But maybe others have their own preferred sources. But yes subtitles is the easier, simpler route to go if you want to understand your movie.
