Budget increase causing suspicious payments?

Hello, I had just increased the budget of one of my search campaigns from $15 to $25, and this immediately caused a suspension due to suspicious payments. This isn't a threshold account, it is a legit white hat google ads account in my name. Account was relatively new and had already spent $50 which was charged to my account, so there is payment history.

What I want to ask is that how much % should I increase the budget in order to not get suspended for bullshit like this again? I'm thinking no more than 10%/day, but would be happy if someone with more experience chimed in.

Exactly. If you're using a legitimate account, with a legitimate payment method, and legitimate information, there are no issues.

I've used $1k+/day budgets on a business their new account that only spent about $50 in total before.

Unfortunately google doesn't seem to like me. I too was able to use high budgets from the get go previously which was about 6 months ago.

I'm just going to use automated rules to increase budget by 10% every day and hope for the best.

Very random, tested 2 accounts of increasing budget from £20 to £64, 1 banned and other fine. Google is very random but lately they have been banning like crazy for anything.

There are businesses spending millions in ads.

There's more to it than just volume of course.
